Loughborough University Students
University students are more than welcome to join us at Loughborough Chess Club.
The following are some of the students who have played for us:
- International Master Mas Hafizulhelmi, a Chemical Engineering undergraduate who has played Board 1 for Malaysia.
- Edmund Player, a Computer Science undergraduate and British Championship qualifier.
- Julian Chapman, a Mathematics postgraduate.
- Peter Hunt, a Mathematics undergraduate.
- Stewart Gordon, who was a Mathematical Sciences postgraduate when he originally joined the club.
